100 Years of RSS : ₹100 coin honors century service and legacy. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), one of India’s most influential socio-cultural organizations, has entered its centenary year, marking 100 years since its founding in 1925. To commemorate this milestone, the Government of India has announced the release of a special ₹100 coin, celebrating the legacy and contributions of the RSS.
“स्वयमेव मृगेंद्रता” (Svayameva Mṛgendratā) -“The lion proves its strength by its own prowess.” The official motto of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It comes from a Sanskrit subhashita (moral verse) and signifies self-reliance, inner strength, and natural leadership.
