Rajnath Singh’s fake letter

A letter circulating in the name of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, allegedly written to IAF chief Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh about “public disclosure of a sensitive IAF assessment”, has been categorically declared fake by PIB Fact Check. The fake document, marked “Personal Confidential” and dated 22 November, appears designed to manufacture a narrative of internal discord within the defence establishment.

Fact‑checkers and PIB’s Fact Check unit have flagged a wider pattern of Pakistan‑linked propaganda accounts pushing doctored NDTV videos about the Tejas crash and other sensitive defence stories.
