#Rishabh Pant Masterclass: Grit, Glory, & Double Century!
#Rishabh Pant, the Vice-Captain and wicketkeeper of the Indian cricket team, delivered a stellar performance by scoring consecutive double centuries in the ongoing Test series against England. In the opening Test match held at Headingley Stadium in Leeds, Pant displayed remarkable composure and aggressive stroke play.
After reaching his century, he shifted gears and launched a counterattack on England skipper Joe Root, hammering him for three boundaries and a towering six in a single over. His explosive batting not only put India in a commanding position but also highlighted his growing stature as one of the most dynamic wicketkeeper-batters in modern Test cricket.

While the opening session demanded caution following an early setback, the momentum shifted dramatically in the second session as India’s batsmen found their rhythm.
#Rishabh Pant, in particular, began to accelerate, putting Josh Tongue under immediate pressure early in the session. At the other end, KL Rahul looked fluent, bringing up his 80s with a well-timed sweep shot off Shoaib Bashir. After reaching his half-century, Pant unleashed a flurry of aggressive strokes, taking the attack to the spinner with two towering sixes in a single over — a clear statement of intent from the Indian vice-captain

#Rishabh Pant, who was cautiously placed at 45 off 81 deliveries, shifted gears dramatically, scoring 27 runs off his next 11 balls to suddenly put England on the defensive.
His calculated aggression turned the tide of the innings, unsettling the bowlers. Meanwhile, at the other end, KL Rahul remained composed and methodical, steadily accumulating runs and bringing up a sublime century with characteristic grace. As Pant surged into the 90s, he momentarily tempered his natural aggression, taking an uncharacteristically cautious approach before eventually reaching his milestone — a historic and well-crafted hundred.

Immediately after getting to his century though, Pant gave Root a pounding with three fours and a six in a single over. The entertainment finally came to an end when another attempt to clear the boundary didn’t pay off with Pant finding the fielder at long on to give Bashir his first wicket.
#Rishabh Pants Under 19 World Cup 2016 to the year 2025!
#Rishabh Pant gained recognition after his standout performance for India at the 2016 U-19 World Cup and for Delhi in the domestic circuit. He has a triple century to his name in Ranji Trophy, too.

The swashbuckling batter also has scores of 300+ runs in every edition he has played in since 2017. Pant also made a name for himself for India across formats, especially in Test cricket, with his most iconic moment coming during India’s famous Border-Gavaskar Trophy win in 2020/21.
The Indian international made history by becoming the most expensive player in IPL history after he was picked by LSG for INR 27 Crore during the 2025 TATA IPL Auction.

#Rishabh Pant the entertainer who never switches off!
