TIBET TRENDS ON TWITTER OVER G20 MEET AT SRINAGAR

TWITTER HANDLES RESPOND TO THE CCP RULED CHINA'S STAND & SHOW THE MIRROR!

CCP ruled China expressed displeasure over the G20 meet in Srinagar. The Twitter users quickly pointed the anomaly in the stand by pointing towards the occupation of Tibet. Read what the Twitter users had to say.

China is all set to boycott G20 event in Kashmir.
Beijing has said its officials will not travel to what they call, a disputed territory.
On Saturday May 20th 23, ANI (@ANI) tweeted to report that, “China firmly opposes holding any form of G20 meetings on disputed territory. We will not attend such meetings: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin on reports that China will boycott meetings and events for the G20 planned to be held in Indian-administered Kashmir”.

Another twitter handle @globaltimesnews, a state run media handle from CCP run China, also tweeted with a similar statement.
The report was immediately responded to by various tweets on the matter. Here is a brief scan of some of them.

A Twitter user with handle @KanishkaDadhich was quick to post an image (shown in the featured image) explaining the reality of actual Chinese territory with this tweet:
60% of China’s 9.6million km² is occupied-land of different countries.
Tibet-2.5m km², East Turkestan 1.8m km², Southern Mongolia 1.2m km² Manchuria 84k km².
Still, China has opposed G-20 Meetings in Srinagar, India.

Another handle @njohncamm commented on it tweeting, If disputed territory is criteria then it would never ever happen in China.

In an another tweet, the same handle displayed a self explanatory map and wrote:

A Tibetan journalist from Dharamsala with handle name @yd_tweets posted a video showing His Holiness Dalai Lama addressing, and wrote,
Today, on the 1st Day of Saga Dawa, His Holiness the #DalaiLama said that he hopes #Tibetans will soon visit Potala Palace, #Tibet.

On the other hand, the bots are also doing their bit. A handle that didn’t actually identify itself, sought to justify the occupation, the oppression, the on democratic set up and Human rights violations therein by suggesting that the region had progressed with an image.
  
While common citizens of the world are always tweeting their emotions on Tibet, the prominent names too, are not left behind.
Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Indian union minister of state for entrepreneurship, skill development, electronics and technology who tweets by the handle @Rajeev_GOI had recently posted this image on #TibetSolidarityDay
