58 Tiger Reserves. One Rider. History Made. After 121 days on the road, over 18,500 kilometers ridden, and countless wildlife landscapes explored, Ashish Yadav is set to complete what is believed to be a first-of-its-kind achievement in India — covering all 58 Tiger Reserves of the country on a motorcycle.
The expedition began on 10 February 2026 from Zero Mile, Nagpur, the geographical center of India. On 10 June 2026, Ashish will return to the same iconic landmark, bringing his extraordinary journey full circle after four months of relentless travel dedicated to wildlife conservation awareness and responsible nature tourism.

The Explorer
As of 9 June 2026, Ashish has successfully visited 57 Tiger Reserves spread across diverse ecosystems, ranging from the mangrove forests of the east and the Himalayan foothills in the north to the dense forests of central India and the rich biodiversity hotspots of the south.
His final destination before completing the expedition is Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, which will become the 58th and last Tiger Reserve on his remarkable route.
1st motorcycle Expedition exploring Tiger Reserves
To the best of available knowledge, no individual has previously completed a motorcycle expedition covering every Tiger Reserve in India. Upon completing Navegaon-Nagzira and returning to Zero Mile, Nagpur, Ashish Yadav will become the first person to achieve this milestone on a motorcycle.
The journey was not merely about covering distance. Throughout the expedition, Ashish interacted with forest officials, wildlife experts, naturalists, safari guides, researchers, and local communities living around protected areas.
These interactions provided valuable insights into India’s conservation success stories, challenges facing wildlife habitats, and the crucial role played by local communities in protecting biodiversity.
India Home to World’s largest Tiger Reserves
India is home to the world’s largest wild tiger population, and its Tiger Reserves serve as vital strongholds for wildlife conservation.
Through this expedition, Ashish sought to highlight the importance of these protected landscapes while encouraging citizens, especially young people, to connect with nature and support conservation efforts.
The expedition’s key highlights include 58 Tiger Reserves covered, more than 18,500 kilometers traveled by motorcycle, 121 days on the road, and a mission centered on wildlife conservation awareness and responsible tourism.
As the journey concludes where it began, at Zero Mile, Nagpur, it stands as a powerful testament to determination, adventure, and a deep commitment to India’s natural heritage.
‘More than a motorcycle ride, this expedition represents a nationwide celebration of wildlife conservation and an inspiring reminder of the need to protect India’s forests and their magnificent inhabitants for future generations.’
