Maoist-Mukt Bharat, Casualty-Free CRPF: India’s New Security Era

Zero Operational Deaths, A Stronger India: The CRPF Achievement History Must Remember

History will perhaps remember this as one of the most significant yet under-credited achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government.

For decades, Maoist extremism, insurgency and internal security threats remained formidable challenges for India. Our security personnel operated in hostile terrain, faced deadly ambushes and improvised explosive devices, and made immense sacrifices to protect the nation. Countless families lived with the fear of losing their loved ones in the line of duty.

Today, a remarkable transformation is visible. India is no longer merely responding to threats; it is increasingly anticipating, neutralising and dismantling them through a coordinated security strategy.

47 Years of History, One Extraordinary Milestone

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), India’s largest central armed police force, achieved a historic milestone by completing 12 consecutive months without an operational fatality, a first in its 47-year record of operational history.

This is not just a statistic. It is a powerful reflection of improved operational preparedness, institutional efficiency and the changing character of India’s internal security management.

Every soldier returning safely to their family is a victory for the country.

Strong Political Will, Stronger Administrative Execution

One of the most remarkable aspects of this transformation is the administrative machinery working behind the scenes.

Political leadership provides direction, but translating that vision into ground-level success requires exceptional administrative coordination and execution.

The Home Ministry, security establishment, intelligence agencies, senior police leadership and field formations deserve tremendous appreciation. Their coordinated functioning, timely decision-making, resource allocation, operational monitoring and accountability have strengthened India’s internal security architecture.

The administrative wing deserves particular applause for ensuring that modernisation is not restricted to policy announcements but translates into equipment, infrastructure, communication systems, training facilities and operational support reaching personnel on the ground.

Good governance is not merely about making decisions; it is about ensuring that those decisions deliver results at the last mile.

Leadership, Technology and Professional Excellence

Modern equipment, better intelligence inputs, specialised training, strategic planning and rapid medical evacuation have transformed operational capabilities.

The CRPF leadership, officers, commanders and jawans deserve enormous credit for implementing these improvements under challenging circumstances.

The emphasis has evolved from simply conducting successful operations to ensuring that operations are intelligent, precise and personnel-conscious.

This reflects a mature security doctrine in which operational success and the safety of our forces go hand in hand.

Maoist Terror-Mukt Bharat: Beyond Security, Towards Development

The government’s sustained campaign against Left-Wing Extremism has significantly weakened the Maoist ecosystem.

However, the real victory lies beyond the security statistics. It lies in bringing governance, roads, education, healthcare, communication and economic opportunities to regions that were once held back by violence and fear.

When a school functions without intimidation, when a road connects a remote village, when a citizen can access government services without fear, the true meaning of national security becomes visible.

The New India Does Not Surrender to Fear

The transformation in India’s internal security landscape demonstrates what political determination, administrative efficiency, professional leadership and disciplined execution can achieve together.

Challenges remain, and vigilance must continue. But the direction of change is unmistakable.

The Modi government’s approach reflects an India that is more confident, better prepared and increasingly determined to protect its citizens and territorial integrity.

The achievement belongs not to one individual or institution alone, but to the entire machinery working together—from policymakers and administrators to intelligence officers, commanders and frontline jawans.

A special salute to the administrative leadership and the execution machinery that converted policy into performance and determination into measurable outcomes.

History will remember the weakening of Maoist terror. It must also remember the administrative competence, strategic planning and extraordinary dedication of the people who made this transformation possible.

Maoist Terror-Mukt Bharat. Casualty-Mukt CRPF. A Safer, Stronger and More Confident New India.
