iPhone 18 Pro: Familiar design, serious upgrades
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to retain Apple’s premium Pro design while bringing a smaller Dynamic Island, a new A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process, and an upgraded OLED display. One of the biggest camera changes could be a variable-aperture main camera, giving users greater control over light and depth.
The leaked colours shown in the circulating render include Black, Silver, Dark Cherry and Light Blue. While the colours may not deliver a dramatic visual revolution, Dark Cherry could become the signature shade of this generation.
The rumoured starting price is around $1,199, according to the circulating specifications.

iPhone 18 Pro Max: Bigger, longer-lasting
The Pro Max is expected to share the Pro’s major upgrades but offer a larger 6.9-inch display and bigger battery. The leaked specification sheet also points to 120Hz ProMotion, the A20 Pro chip and upgraded camera hardware.
Its rumoured starting price sits around $1,299, although Apple’s official pricing remains the final word.

The real star: iPhone Ultra
The biggest attraction could be Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone, widely referred to as the iPhone Ultra. Reports suggest a 5.5-inch outer OLED display expanding to roughly 7.8 inches when unfolded, with a hinge designed to minimise the crease.
Because of its extremely thin design, the foldable could reportedly replace Face ID with Touch ID, while its premium construction could push the starting price beyond $2,000. Some estimates place it between $2,000 and $2,500.
And the Apple Watch?
The Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 are also expected, with processor, health-tracking and battery-related improvements rather than radical redesigns.
So, is it worth staying up? The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max may represent refinement—but the foldable iPhone could represent Apple’s biggest design shift since the original iPhone. Tonight, the question isn’t just what Apple upgrades. It’s whether Apple can make the foldable iPhone feel genuinely different.
